Terms & Conditions of Rental
PLEASE NOTE THAT CHECK IN TIME IS 4 PM ON DAY OF ARRIVAL DEPARTURE TIME IS 11 AM ON DAY OF DEPARTURE
Please take note of the following booking conditions:
Prices quoted are in Euros or UK Sterling Pounds and are subject to surcharge only as a result of government actions. The owners and their management company reserve the right to revise price lists. No price increase will apply once full payment has been received for the booking.
Rental booking deposit as quoted usually 25% of the rental amount payable at the time of booking should be forwarded upon completed reservation and the balance of the rental to be received no later than 8 weeks prior to rental start date at the property.
Payment is required either by UK bank transfer or cheque or Euro cheque or by euro bank transfer with the property name and your name as reference. Payment details will be given and a
receipt will be issued.
A refundable damage deposit of £500.00 or Euros 600 per rental week period will be required to protect both owners and management company against damage to interior fixtures and fittings, loss of contents and to cover excessive electricity or water usage. Properties will be checked upon your departure and any necessary deductions made from the deposit held. This damage deposit is also to be paid using one of the above methods before rental start date. Refunds minus any necessary deductions will be given within 10 working days after rental end date providing the renters give the return payment details promptly after the end of rental.
Pool heating is optional and available October to May inclusive. The charge for pool heating is £25/per day with a minimum charge of £100 irrespective of the number of days booked.
Late check-in after 8PM and before 8 AM will incur a fee of £30 for the local management company. Check in between 8am-8pm attracts no extra charges to the renters.
We reserve the right to impose supplementary charges if the property is not vacated in the time stated.
Cancellations must be confirmed in writing and deposits will be refundable if cancellation is made more than 8 weeks before departure date with a cancellation charge of £100.00 . Cancellations within 8 weeks of departure will incur a 50% cancellation charge of the rental amount. Cancellations within 4 weeks of departure will incur a 100% cancellation charge as it is highly likely that another rental will not be secured. Travel insurance is therefore strongly recommended.
We take great care and attention to ensure the accuracy of information shown in our photographs and property description. However, there may be times when facilities not under our direct control may not be available. Photographs are intended to give an overall impression of our property.
Maid service is included once per rental to change linen and towels. Extra maid service is available and can be arranged through at cost. Please ask for a quote. Rentals of 2 weeks or longer will include short weekly cleans and towel change.
Broadband wireless internet is available at the property. You will be given the access details for this service. Please note you will need to take your own wireless enabled laptop computer to use this service. Please use this service responsibly as it is subject to a fair use policy. Also inappropriate use and/or access of illegal or immoral websites is strictly prohibited. The lead renter holds responsibility for ensuring that rental tenants do not misuse the broadband connection.
The property will have been fully prepared for your arrival with a full compliment of linen and towels as well as beach towels for your convenience.
The Local Property Management Company will assist guests if needed or in emergencies. However please be aware the management company may charge for any additional assistance or services provided, such as car or taxi hire, food packs, equipment hire, loss of keys, accidentally locked safe, locking oneself out of house etc.
Folding/extra beds are not available.
Smoking is not permitted inside the Villa, smokers may use the outside areas. Drug use is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property.
A Chicco high chair and a Mothercare UK folding travel cot with wipe clean mattress are available at the villa. Please take your own baby bed linen. Please ensure you read the instructions provided carefully for correct erection and folding of the high chair and travel cot. It is your responsibility to ensure that you operate the baby equipment according to manufacturer instructions. We do not accept any responsibility for any accidents due to improper or incorrect use of baby equipment. A wooden Mothercare high chair is also available at the Villa.
All charges must be settled prior to your departure.
Should you experience any problems during your holiday with your property please bring it to our attention immediately so that we can make the necessary arrangements to take care of it for you.
Swimming pools - Pool heating is optional for rentals starting October until end May. Pool heating is not needed and not included in the rental charge June -September. The pool is professionally managed throughout the year.
Please note that the tropical climate in Spain means that insects (including bees and wasps) may be encountered. You are advised to take suitable precautions including insect repellant sprays, skin creams or other prescription medications as appropriate.
Great care must be taken at all times when using the pool at the property as accidents can occur.
TO AVOID ACCIDENTAL INJURY, GUESTS MUST REFRAIN FROM USING CROCKERY OR GLASS UTENSILS AT THE POOLSIDE.
You are strongly advised not to use the swimming pool, or pool side whilst under the influence of alcohol. Please always ensure that children are accompanied in the bath, on the terraces, while swimming or pool side.
The pool is fully enclosed with child resistant self locking gates to French safety standards. This is because Spain has not yet legislated regarding pool safety. Despite this it is an essential condition of the rental that all children must be always supervised in the pool and pool terrace to avoid accidents. All doors and windows have fitted locks for the safety of children.
The security of the Villa and its contents during the rental period is the responsibility of the main named renter. It is essential that the Villa is locked including all terrace doors and windows and secured especially when away from the villa. Any loss or damage to the villa, its contents or to the renters or their belongings due to negligence or omission of the part of any of the renters/occupants to exercise due care or in the observance of due security precautions will be the responsibility and liability of the main named renter.
Once rental is confirmed, you will be sent a detailed Villa Information Booklet with driving directions as well as full check in instructions. A representative of the management company InspMarbella will meet and greet the guests on arrival at the Villa Los Pulus. You will be given a Spanish mobile telephone number for a representative of InspMarbella usually 2-4 weeks before rental start date. Please enquire with the owners if you are not sure or haven’t got this number before your departure.
The management company InspMarbella have their offices in Nueva Andalucia, just 5 minutes from Villa Los Pulus. They have a rota system which means a different person will be on call for meet and greet. for your arrival. The person who will meet you will be Simon or Alison.
InspMarbella is an English company, all employees speak English and Spanish.
Guests will be given detailed driving directions to the Villa from the airport-please request if required.
To minimise any delay, guests are advised to telephone this mobile telephone as they are leaving the airport headed for the Villa Los Pulus. This will enable you to agree a rendezvous time for them to be at the villa to meet you on arrival. The journey time from the airport is 40-50 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Please note arrival between the hours of 8PM -8AM will incur a late check-in fee of Euros 30.00 for the management company payable locally. There is no charge for meet and greet and personal check-in at any other times.
Free pool heating may be offered from time to time but only for rentals of 7 or more days.
